What if I don't know what I really want to do?
You have taken the first step in contacting Chrysalis. That's what we are good at, providing you with ideas and helping you determine what changes to make to your home.

I don't want a stranger coming into my home and being critical and intimidating!
Unwanted criticism is always a concern when asking for help. Help can be viewed as a critical interruption into your life. But, the reason that you called Chrysalis, was because you wanted change. We will assist you.

Will you help me convince my husband that I really need to do this?
We can certainly present to your husband our ideas with pros/cons and recommendations addressing any concerns. If possible all family members should participate, at least in part. At Chrysalis, we hope to bring a feeling of comfort to everybody in the home.

Will it cost too much?
At Chrysalis, we understand you have a budget. Re-vamping uses what you have to better advantage; with color, space planning and additional accessories to take full advantage of the make-over. Some budgets are large, enabling major changes to your home. We can break the work to be done into phases.

How and when do I pay you?
On a hourly consultation basis you pay at the end of each appointment. For large projects, a downpayment is required. For smaller activities, payment is due once the work is completed. Chrysalis accepts cash, checks or Visa.

How do I know if we can work together?
An initial consultation in your home or office would give us both a good indication of whether or not it would be a good working relationship. Which is critical to our success. Chrysalis has different personalities and approaches, one of which matches you best. We should have a relaxed and open relationship, comfortable making needs known and offering suggestions.

Can you help me arrange my artwork and wall hangings?
Of course, Chrysalis specializes in artwork arrangements. Getting the right composition of your artwork presents them in the best light possible and can make a striking presence in any room.

Will you make me get rid of my Grandmother's clock?
Everyone has special objects with an emotional attachment. The first step is always to identify those objects and then to include them in the best possible way. Often, these special objects can become the focal point and bring a higher level of appreciation.

Will I have to get rid of all my stuff?
Your "stuff" is the starting point for our creative juices. Chrysalis's role is to help you present your unique reflection in a manner that makes you feel good.

Will you deal with the tradespeople for my project?
Yes, for activities that require tradespeople, Chrysalis will contact and manage tradespeople thru the project. Once you agree on what is to be done, Chrysalis handles getting it done. Of course, if you prefer, you can also take on that responsibility, in which case Chrysalis only consults.

What if I don't like something?
The process includes your participation. You will be making the finial decisions, based upon the various options that Chrysalis presents. If something does not work out as we expect it, then Chrysalis will work with you to get it right.

Can you just walk through my home and give me ideas and things that I could change?
Yes. You may have a one time or ongoing consultation service. Staging home for sale service provides advise based upon a quick review of your home. This interaction provides you with guidance with types of changes that could instantly modernize your home. Of course, short interactions do not create comprehensive changes that you may ultimately desire in the future.

Do you like wine?
Of course! Somewhere in your home there is space to store your wine in a fun way. Why not turn a closet or under the stairs into a wine cellar.
